BISSELL Pet Pack Vacuum Attachments, 3260 (Kitchen) I bought this as a replacement brush for my Bissell Healthy Home Vacuum . My son smashed the one that came with it. This claims it helps remove pet hair, but I disagree. I have a couch cover and this brush does NOT get the pet hair off. This motor brush works just like the regular brush and is for crumbs, small jobs, etc. Its not an amazing pet hair remover, in my opinion.. |

Bissell : 16N53 Upright Health y Home Vacuum with HEPA Filter (replaces model 5770 ) The Bissell vacuum is great at picking up dirt from bare floors and a variety of carpets. It got old dirt that my previous vacuum had left behind in the carpet. The attachments are great, particularly the mini brush attachment for doing the stairs. With the long hose, I can get at least 7 or 8 stairs up and then finish from the top. The filters seem to work well, too, and there is a nice fresh smell left behind. |

I’ve got a cat who has occasional ‘accidents’ on the living room carpet, so I am a good person to test and review this carpet cleaner.The cleaner is easy to set up. There is one container to hold the detergent (you mix it according to lines on the container). The other container serves two purposes: it has a flexible plastic ‘bladder’ that you fill with hot water. As the carpet is being cleaned, the clean water is used up, the bladder deflates, and the dirty water fills the now-empty space in the container. It’s a unique design and one that I like because it makes it really easy to empty the dirty water and refill with clean…just lift the single container by its handle and carry it to the sink.The PROheat 2X did an excellent job on my carpet. It cleaned spots that my older rug shampooer had not been able to lift. You know a carpet cleaner is doing a good job when, at the end, you look back and can see, ‘Oh, I missed a spot’. I really liked the pet-formula detergent that was included, and I have already purchased a new bottle for future cleanings.It’s been about a week since I cleaned the rug and the cat urine smell has not returned.I can highly recommend this cleaner. |

BISSELL ProHeat 2X Select Pet Upright Deep Cleaner, 94003 (Kitchen) I have a 7 month old, a 2 year old chocolate labrador, a husband (you know what I mean), and 10 year old contractor grade cheap carpets. Having borrowed other carpet cleaners (Hoover and older Bissell ), rented the Rug Doctor many times, we finally broke down and bought this at our local box store. I am glad we did! The first time I used this cleaner was in a frantic scurry to clean up some major puppy poopy of the liquid nature that had gotten on almost every wall, floor and ceiling of one of our bedrooms. I rushed out and grabbed this one for no specific reason, maybe because it said ‘pet’ and I thought that meant something in my poop haze. We got it home and after some very easy assembly, got to work! To my surprise, after about 2 swipes, the entire area was as good as new. The next challenge were the edges of the carpet and the floor boards. For this I used the small hand tool, which while didn’t do as good as the actual main unit (nor did I expect it to), but it certainly got it to a condition where with an old rag and a little spot cleaner, I was able to finish the job.Overall for large areas, even high traffic areas, I think this does a great job. With the baby, I appreciate that it has a ‘rinse’ cycle so I feel better about the condition of the carpet when it’s dried. I’ve had professionals clean other carpets of mine before and HATE the stiff residue stuff it leaves; I feel like they do more harm than good. This does not leave a residue. I have also cleaned without the rinse cycle and never noticed a residue either. It certainly isn’t the most nimble machine i’ve ever owned, and is just heavy enough to get the job done. I don’t feel like it is too heavy for me to carry up and down the stairs, mainly because of the wonderfully placed handle. I would however suggest, carrying the unit fully loaded with water and solution. I could see that making a huge mess and being too heavy. The filling and emptying is amazingly easy, and pretty satisfying when you see the gray water. As far as hairballs as noted in other reviews, I have many of them, but again, I don’t mind that, because I know it’s getting the deep hair the normal vacuum doesn’t. I’ve even started carrying a baggie with me to collect them as I go (slightly nasty).I would definitely recommend this deep cleaner for household use. It does an overall great job! |

Bissell 15 HEPA Filter (Kitchen) I purchased this filter to replace a 4 year old OEM filter in a Bissell Health y home upright. The OEM filters were about $30 at reputable vacuum supply places on-line so I opted for this filter to save money. This Filtrete filter looks like an exact OEM replacement but I did have to use some effort to get it to seat….the filter is slightly thicker than the OEM filter. |

BISSELL 5770 Healthy Home Bagless Upright Vacuum (Kitchen) This vacuum was a gift. So when the brush stopped working after 5 months I figured I would spend some money on getting it fixed. In my opinion, it was worth getting fixed because it’s a great vacuum when it works. However, without the brush it’s really not that great. Bissell sent me another handle for free and still… no luck getting the brush to work. So I took it to a vacuum repair shop and he ordered a new circuit board ($65) for it. It worked like new for 3 uses. Then it would not turn on at all. I took it back to the repair shop and all he did was press down on the handle to make sure it was tight and he screwed it in as tight as it would go. He plugged it in and it was working again. I took it home and got another 2 good uses out of it and it shut off on me again. I messed with the handle a bit and it was working again. I never know if it’s going to work or not but I am not taking it back anymore… not worth it. I’m going to purchase a Shark or Dyson whenever this one finally dies.I just wanted to share my experience with the circuit board and handle issues because it looks like I’m not the only one! |

BISSELL 5770 Healthy Home Bagless Upright Vacuum (Kitchen) I always wanted a Dyson because the commercials make it seem like you will never want or need another vacuum for the rest of your life. But I grew up with a Kirby that eventually died and am convinced that household products and cars are meant to give out so us consumers buy more. So I am not buying an expensive vacuum because I am convinced we will ruin it, and I am cheap. So I bought this vacuum used! Not even refurbished! From Craigslist! Love it! It is heavy and dusty to empty and I hit the on/off button accidentally, but who cares? It has awesome suction, my allergies are mild, it’s quiet, and I am in good shape to get a workout cleaning with this behemoth! Love it. |
